Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the Cogit Development website at cogitdev.net, including our blog, guides, and informational pages. They do not replace the separate terms that apply when you use a specific product.
Service-specific terms
Each product has its own terms and privacy notice. If you use one of the services below, those documents control for that product:
- CogitHost (bot hosting) — host.cogitdev.net/tos and host.cogitdev.net/privacy (panel: panel.cogitdev.net)
- Cogit Security — security.cogitdev.net/terms and privacy
- Minecraft Status — legal notices on mcstatus.cogitdev.net (including privacy where published)
Where a product term conflicts with this website term on a product-only topic (accounts, servers, billing, abuse on that product), the product term wins for that product.
Who we are
Cogit Development operates this website to describe our projects, publish educational content, and link to product destinations. “We,” “us,” and “our” mean Cogit Development.

You may browse public pages, share links to our guides, and contact us through published channels. You may not:
- Attempt to break, scrape abusively, or overload this website

Content on this site
Blog posts, guides, and FAQ answers are provided for general information. They are not legal, security, or professional advice. Product features and limits can change; always confirm details in the relevant product panel or documentation.
Unless otherwise stated, website text and branding are owned by Cogit Development. You may link to our pages. Do not republish full articles without permission.
Third-party links and ads
This site may link to Discord, documentation, or our other domains. Third-party sites have their own terms. Where Google AdSense or similar advertising is shown, those networks’ policies also apply to ad delivery.
Accounts
Browsing cogitdev.net does not require a Cogit Development website account. Product accounts (for example hosting panel logins) are created and governed under that product’s terms, not solely under this page.

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated Terms for website use.
